Here’s how it works
Small group comfort
The boats vary but once aboard you will experience freedom, style and comfort on the Murray. All have king or queen beds in 4 double cabins with private facilities. An open plan dining, lounge and kitchen is complimented by fixtures and fittings including all the modern conveniences of a luxury apartment. The outdoor areas are as spacious as any luxury apartment on Sydney Harbour and the Jacuzzi on the top deck is the icing on the cake. Canoes and paddle boards are optional extras
Your hosts
Your Mariner hosts, the Joyce team, will rely on the assistance and knowledge of the experienced staff at the base. Local chef, Paul Jarman, who in addition to organising most of the dinners in the itinerary, has offered to be in touch with our group along the way to assist should we require any extras. Although the river winds over a large area we are never far from assistance at the base.
Life on board
The river boats are spacious and stable. The equipment on board includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, modern oven and huge fridge/freezer. Storage is organised and generous. Eight seater dining table, super comfortable lounge setting, HD LCD TV and sound system completes the living area. The outside area is spacious and includes cooking facilities, bar fridge and sound system, dining table and two sun lounges. The top deck is part shaded.
Your travelling companions
Every group is different, but typically you’ll find your co-travellers will be aged between 40 and 65, enjoy keeping active, love the ocean, have a sense of adventure, love fine foods, an occasional glass of wine, and a good chat
