FIND YOUR PERFECT SAILING HOLIDAY: FREE GUIDE

A Scandinavian sailing escape like no other

Just beyond the Swedish capital lies a maze of over 30,000 islands known as the Stockholm Archipelago — a place where everyday life slows down and nature takes the lead. You’ll find colourful cottages, quiet fishing harbours, pine-covered islands, and the long light of a northern summer. It’s where locals go to switch off, soak up the fresh air, and enjoy time by the water.

You’ll spend your days sailing between narrow channels and open bays, then heading ashore to explore on foot. Hike island trails, swim in calm waters, or simply sit back and take in the views. Forage for wild berries, enjoy a fika by the water, or find a cosy tavern for a hearty meal. There’s no rush — just the freedom to enjoy the journey.

If you’re already a sailor, you’ll love the chance to take the helm, hoist a sail or simply be out on the water. And if you’re not, that’s no problem — no sailing experience is needed to join. With your Mariner Boating guide on hand and a small group to share it with, it’s a relaxed, refreshing way to travel — no crowds, no fuss.
