Sardinia & Corscia Sailing Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday
Welcome to Sardinia!
Please make your way to the Marina where you will board your yacht.

We’ll embark the yachts before sailing to a nearby bay (Golfo Pevero or similar) where we will anchor for the evening and then enjoy welcome drinks onboard.

Day 2 - Sunday
This morning we will cruise to Porto Cervo. As the undisputed capital of the Costa Smeralda, the seaside town of Porto Cervo is home to the exclusive Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and an absolute box ticker for any yachtie.

This afternoon we will sail to La Maddalena for the evening. Join us ashore tonight for our first group dinner.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 3 - Monday
Leisure day– La Maddalena
Wander about this bustling town with boutique shopping and a variety of restaurants. Cruise to the Northern Islands of La Maddalena and moor at one of the stunning anchorages found here; Budelli, Razzoli or Santa Maria.

Day 4 - Tuesday
Today we will make our way to Santa Teresa Gallura, and hopefully have a social race along the way. Join us in town for dinner tonight.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 5 - Wednesday
Leisure day – Santa Teresa Gallura
Spend the morning exploring the large and open town square which is lined with beautiful pastel-coloured buildings featuring many cafes, boutiques, and restaurants.

Day 6 - Thursday
This morning we are off to Bonifacio. Welcome to Corsica!
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 7 - Friday
Leisure day – Bonifacio
Perched high up a white limestone cliff, explore the medieval clifftop citadel and savour Corsican specialties with lunch at one of the restaurants offering sweeping views of the Bonifacio straits.

Day 8 - Saturday
Leisure day – Islands of Lavezzi
Cruise the south coast of Corsica to the Islands of Lavezzi where there are splendid, remote anchorages. The landscape here is beautifully barren granite boulders coupled with pristine azure sea.

Day 9 - Sunday
Today we will sail to Porto Vecchio. Porto Vecchio is a bustling old port town where the Corsican mountains sweep down to the sea. From here you can venture inland for the spectacular scenery which draws hikers and cyclists from around the world.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 10 - Monday
Leisure day - Porto Vecchio
We recommend venturing into the mountains today to the village of Zonza for lunch.

Day 11 - Tuesday
This morning we will cruise to the Bay of Rondinara for a swim stop before our afternoon sail to Porto Massimo.

Day 12 - Wednesday
Leisure day – Cala Coticcio
Recommendations – Explore Cala Coticcio, on the eastern side of Caprera, which is known as Little Tahiti because of it's spectacular bays with electric blue water.

Day 13 - Thursday
Today will be a leisure day where we will enjoy sailing the coast stopping as we please to swim and explore. Tonight we will head ashore for our final dinner on Tavolara Island.
Dinner is included tonight.

Day 14 - Friday
Today will be our final sailing day as we make our way back to Olbia. Once back at the marina, enjoy a final farewell drink onboard the yachts. Tonight you are welcome to stay onboard the yacht in the marina or make your own hotel arrangements.

Day 15 - Saturday
Today is the last day of your sailing adventure with us. After breakfast, disembark at 8am and continue onward with your adventures of Italy, France, or beyond

• Pre & Post Accommodation or land arrangements e.g. transfers
• If you require a skipper the cost is approx. 230 EUR per day + food + cabin
• Berthing/Marina fees on leisure days
• Personal travel insurance
• Refundable yacht security deposit payable at the base
• On board provisioning for meals not included

• Outboard motor for dinghy is optional extra (240 EUR)
• Fuel for the yacht and outboard motor (Estimate AU$300 total)
• Drinks during dinners ashore are not included unless specified

• For cabin bookings, please allow approx. 100 EUR for a local "kitty" to contribute to fuel plus skipper's meals and gratuities.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended by Mariner Boating Holidays. Travellers should ensure they have a valid policy at time of booking. Your travel insurance policy must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the heads of cover. MBH also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.
