Discover the rich history of the area with visits to ancient ruins such as the Kaunos ancient city and the Lycian rock tombs. Explore the picturesque town of Kas, known for its beautiful harbour surrounded by rugged mountains and numerous ancient ruins, offering a glimpse into the region's storied past. From Kas, embark on a local boat to the Greek island of Kastellorizo, just a few miles off Türkiye's coast. This tranquil island is perfect for relaxation, with ample opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring.

Turquoise Coast Sailing Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday
Arrive in Marmaris and spend your first night on board your yacht in the marina. Join us for welcome drinks, walk along the quay for dinner and settle into your yacht

Day 2 - Sunday
Enjoy a swim stop before sailing to Ekincik; berth at My Sailing Club and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Dinner amongst the treetops is included tonight.

Day 3 - Monday
Spend the morning visiting Dalyan River. Relax in the afternoon, swim off the quay, walk around to the town or up into the forest.

Day 4 - Tuesday
Sail to Gemeler Island and anchor with lines ashore tonight. Swim off your yacht, read a book, relax completely. This island has a ruined Byzantian village to explore and is inhabited by goats only.

Day 5 - Wednesday
Sail to Kalkan for some shopping, explore the alley ways, sit at the bar overlooking the yachts.

Day 6 - Thursday
Leisure day - we highly recommend visiting Sakklikent Gorge or Xanthos today.

Day 7 - Friday
Sail together to Kas and anchor in the bay. Take a water taxi to town for dinner and to explore the town.

Day 8 - Saturday
Day ferry to Kastellorizo, take a local boat to the Blue Grotto, walk up to the castle or relax along the quay.

Day 9 - Sunday
Sail together to Karacaoren. We will anchor in the bay; you can spend the afternoon swimming or walk to the local ruins. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 10 - Monday
We have a short sail to Cold Water Bay where we will walk through the forest to the deserted Greek ruined town of Kaya Koy. Join us for dinner tonight.

Day 11 - Tuesday
Sail to the Bay of Gocek and tie up to the quay at Sarsala. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 12 - Wednesday
Spend the day at Sarsala or a bay close by or cruise to Gocek where you can spend the afternoon exploring town.

Day 13 - Thursday
Sail to the Bay of Ekincik and spend your last night on anchor. Enjoy the afternoon swimming and an evening under the stars.

Day 14 - Friday
Today will be our final sailing day as we make our way back to Marmaris. Once back at the marina, enjoy a final farewell drink onboard the yachts. Tonight you are welcome to stay onboard the yacht in the marina or make your own hotel arrangements.

Day 15 - Saturday
Today is the last day of your sailing adventure with us. After breakfast, disembark at 9am and continue your onward journey.

• Pre & Post Accommodation or land arrangements e.g. transfers
• If you require a skipper the total cost is AU$250 per day + food + cabin
• Personal travel insurance
• Refundable security deposit for yacht - 3000 euro to be held on credit card (not applicable for cabin bookings)
• On board provisioning or meals ashore for meals not included
• Fuel for the yacht and outboard motor (Estimate AU$300 total)
• Drinks during dinners or tours ashore are not included unless specified

• For cabin bookings, please allow approx. 100 EUR for a local "kitty" to contribute to fuel plus skipper's meals and gratuities.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended by Mariner Boating Holidays. Travellers should ensure they have a valid policy at time of booking. Your travel insurance policy must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses (including covid cover) and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the heads of cover. MBH also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.
