Thailand Sailing Itinerary

Day 1 - Thursday - 11 March
Welcome to Thailand. Arrive in Phuket and make your own way to our hotel in Phuket Town.

Day 2

After breakfast, join us for a guided walk through Phuket’s Old Town. The afternoon is free to explore further or relax by the hotel pool. This evening, join us for welcome drinks.

Day 3
Following breakfast, we transfer to the marina, stopping along the way to arrange provisioning.

Early in the afternoon, we’ll embark the yachts and set sail for our first island in Phang Nga Bay, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 4
Cruise through Phang Nga Bay. Visit the famous James Bond Island (Koh Ping Kan) and enjoy the beautiful views of the sheer cliffs of the bay. Tonight we will spend the evening anchored near the beautiful Pakbia island.

Day 5
This morning we will sail to Ao Thalene for an optional kayak tour.

After lunch we will make our way to Koh Yao Noi where we will head ashore for dinner at the beautiful Cape Kudu Hotel. Dinner here was a highlight of our 2023 trip! Dinner is included tonight.

Day 6
We’ll start early with a visit to Koh Hong Lagoon, enjoying the morning before the longtail boats arrive. In the quiet, the lagoon is truly stunning. Afterwards, we’ll sail to Railay Beach for the evening, with time to head ashore for dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 7
Spend the morning at Railay Beach before the crowds arrive, then sail to Bamboo Island for lunch and a snorkelling stop. In the afternoon, we continue to Koh Phi Phi Don, spending the night at pristine Ao Yongkasem Beach, a protected spot perfect for snorkelling.

Day 8
Sail south to Koh Phi Phi Leh for our visit to Pi Leh Lagoon and Maya Bay, which was made famous from the movie “The Beach”. Today will be an early start to beat the crowds but well worth it to see Maya Bay.

We’ll then sail from Phi Phi Leh to Ao Yon, Phuket. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 9
Spend a leisurely morning ashore at Ao Yon, perhaps with breakfast at a local café or a relaxing massage. We’ll then explore Phuket’s east coast, stopping at Rang Yai Island for lunch and a swim, before sailing on to Naka Island for our final evening.
Lunch is included today.

Day 10 - Saturday - 20 March
After breakfast, disembark your yacht and continue onward with your adventures of Thailand or beyond.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended by Mariner Boating Holidays. Travellers should ensure they have a valid policy at time of booking. Your travel insurance policy must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each of the heads of cover. MBH also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.
